Cube Face Headphones
In this Guide you will expand on the tools you have allready learnt and use new techniques such as creating sketches on Faces rather than Origin Planes. You will also cover creating Arcs and Outlines within a Sketch. Additionally, we will learn how to create Embossed text using the Text tool within a Sketch.

Click the New Sketch icon then click the left face of the Cube. Draw a line from the top midpoint to the bottom midpoint.

Create a new circle in the middle of the line. Finish Sketch.

Extrude the two sides of the circle to 5mm. Select New Body in the Operation dropdown.

Hide the Sketch

Select the Fillet tool then then click the outer edge of the cylinder. Type 3mm and click Ok.

Select the Mirror tool in the Create menu. Click the body. Hide the bodies. Set the Mirror Plane to the Right Plane. Click Ok.

Hide the Bodies and create a New Sketch on the Front Plane.

In the Create menu select 3 Point Arc. Set the first, second and third point as shown.

In the top toolbar, select the Offset tool. Click on the Arc. Type 2mm. Click Ok.

Select the Line tool. Draw two lines to join the two arcs together at the bottom.

Finish Sketch

Select the Extrude Tool. Change the Direction to Symmetric.

Set the distance to 8mm and click Ok.

Create a new Sketch on the top face of the Cube.

Select the Text tool. Click to set the top left corner of the text box. Click again to set bottom left.

Change the text and height so that your text fits on the top of the Cube. Click Ok.

Click and drag on the text to re-position it then Finish Sketch.

Select the Extrude tool and then the text. Extrude to -2mm. Click Ok.
