Basic Shape Creation

Here you will learn how to create a sketch containing a rectangle then use the extrude tool to create a cuboid. You will then use the orbit and pan tools to look around your 3D object.

New Sketch on the bottom Plane

Use the Rectangle Tool to draw one large rectangle containing a few smaller ones

Use the Circle Tool to draw a few different sized circles within the larger rectangle

Click the Finish Sketch button

Use the Extrude tool to extrude the shape in-between the rectangles and circles to a height of your choosing

Click and Drag the Navigation Cube to Orbit around your model

Click on the Faces of the Navigation Cube to snap to that viewpoint

Click the Home icon to return to the main viewpoint

Select the Pan tool at the bottom of the screen and Click and Drag to pan the view. Scroll to Zoom in and Out.

Combine all three tools: Orbit, Pan and Zoom to move around your model

Open the file menu and create a new Project. Give it a name and click Enter
